Also, the guests saw the disassembly of military uniforms and the rehearsal of the orchestra, talked with representatives of the regiment command and soldiers of the special purpose battalion “Donbas”. Of particular interest were samples of weapons and equipment, in particular, novelties that significantly increased the firepower of the guards.
“Thank you for the opportunity to learn so fully about the situation in the region from 2014 to today. In particular, about this tragedy of the Ukrainian people, about the war. Today, the attention of the whole world is focused on Ukraine. We are working here so that our viewers can see what is happening here,” Japanese correspondent Tomohiro Furutani said.
The film crew of NIPPON TV also paid tribute to the servicemen killed in the area of the ATO and the PLO, and visited the surroundings of Slavyansk, where there are many traces of fighting, destroyed homes and remnants of fortifications.
“We welcome guests from Japan. For every Ukrainian serviceman who fights for the freedom of his land, the support of the Japanese people in the confrontation with the Russian aggressor is very important,” said Colonel Serhiy Bozhko, commander of military unit 3035.
He spoke about the tasks that the regiment performs in the area of the PLO, and also assured journalists that his subordinates are constantly improving the skills, skills and knowledge necessary to give a worthy rebuff to the aggressor in the event of an escalation of the conflict.
