For Ukrainian mediators, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, together with NGU conducted training on tactical medicine
For journalists of leading media, at the initiative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine together with the National Guard of Ukraine, a lesson on tactical medicine was held.
Led by the National Guard instructor Oleksandr Korniychuk under the pseudonym “Biker”, the journalists spent the day to consolidate their skills and skills in tact medicine, try in practice to quickly respond to challenges to the sounds of shots, impose turnstiles and once again check their tactical first aid kit, because all these components can save your life.
“Biker” not only showed basic things that all Ukrainians should know in the conditions of war, but also shared memories and stories from life, how he managed to save people.
Training began on the analysis of bandages and bandages, because according to the instructor of the medical service, poor-quality materials can only harm the injured person, not help. This also applies to turnstiles, because a cheap product will not make any difference in the first-aid kit. However, not being able to use a turnstile is just as dangerous as its poor quality.
Oleksandr Korniychuk remembered the soldier of the National Guard of Ukraine Dmitry Finashin, who, having received a wound in the combat zone, was able to save his life by correctly placing a tourniquet on his hand. Now Finashin has a limb amputation, but he remained alive, having received the title of Hero of Ukraine.
The mediators also learned to swab wounds, to evacuate the wounded from the battlefield to the sound of shots, and “examined” their first-aid kits so that everything was only necessary and reliable. The training involved communicators, journalists and operators, who in particular go to the front, often to “zero”.
However, every Ukrainian should have the ability to provide first aid, especially in stressful situations, because the Russian occupiers strike not only in the combat zone, but also throughout the territory of our country.
