Denis Monastyrsky: There is a rescuer behind every educational institution in the region
This was announced today during a briefing at the National Aviation University by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said that today 41% of educational institutions are ready for the beginning of the new academic year. A month and a half ago, they were only 11%. During this time, their number has increased significantly.
“We have assigned a rescuer to absolutely every educational institution in the regions - this is a specific employee who will also be responsible for whether the institution is ready for the new school year. Today, according to our data, about 41% of educational institutions of all levels are provided with shelters,” Denys Monastyrsky noted.
For its part, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has provided relevant recommendations for educational institutions and monitors their implementation.
“The inspection was carried out by commission not only by the employees of the State Emergency Service, but also by other security forces. 80% of educational institutions have already been checked and soon, it will be possible to say exactly how many schools will be able to start training,” the minister informed.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine noted that their specialists, who were assigned to educational institutions, will both teach and help participants in the educational process.
“From the first of September, when the active phase of training begins, we will ensure the rotation of our specialists at these facilities. In addition, they will help during anxieties and teach teachers how to act for them and children,” said the head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine Serhiy Kruk.
