Denis Monastyrsky and Alexey Reznikov opened the exhibition of destroyed equipment of the occupiers
Heads of departments met today, May 28, on Mikhailovskaya Square. There they installed broken tanks and BMPs, as well as other military equipment that the occupiers used in the war against Ukraine. The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine said that the idea to create the exhibition appeared due to the public interest of Ukrainians.
“We drive very often in the Kiev region and see how many people stopped near the broken equipment, how much it arouses great interest, both in Ukraine and abroad,” said Denis Monastyrsky.
Most of the equipment presented at the exhibition was brought from the suburbs of the capital. It was used by the Russians during the Battle of Kiev. All the exhibits were destroyed and burned, which indicates that the Ukrainian defenders are resisting the enemy with dignity. But this is not only a tribute to the heroism and courage of the fighters, the Minister of Defense noted.
“This is a reminder to all of us that the war, its hot phase, is still going on. It's too early to relax. The war continues. And now the fighting is difficult in Donetsk and Kharkiv region,” said Alexey Reznikov.
The event was also attended by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Ekaterina Pavlichenko, who shared the plans. In the future, similar exhibitions will be organized not only in other Ukrainian cities, but also abroad.
