Denis Monastyrsky: Renewal of the leasing program for employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is our common achievement
The government has renewed an important social project, from now on, employees of the National Police and the State Emergency Service can again use the financial leasing program to obtain housing. Mechanisms of social protection of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in particular, the possibility of renting housing by police officers and civil protection officers, will work effectively, taking into account all legislative changes.
“My task, as minister, is to do everything possible so that you feel supported by the state. This also applies to the proper level of social protection. Today, there is an urgent need for employees to own their own housing, especially for the younger generation. Already today we have solemnly restored the right of police and rescuers to preferential financial leasing for housing, which, unfortunately, has not worked for almost 2 years,” Denys Monastyrsky noted in his address to the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
By the end of the year, it is planned to provide housing for an additional 2,000 families of police and rescuers.
Recall that on February 2, the Government made a decision to improve the social protection of police officers, ordinary persons and chiefs of the civil protection service by providing them with housing on the terms of financial leasing.
