Denis Monastyrsky started a working trip to the units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Donetsk
Today, February 16, Minister of Internal Affairs Denis Monastyrsky visited Donetsk region with a working visit. The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs inspected military unit 3057 of the Eastern Operational and Territorial Union of the National Guard of Ukraine.
This military unit became known in the spring of 2014, giving a worthy rebuff to terrorists, repelling an attempt to seize their territory. The soldiers, with the support of other military units of the National Guard, took part in the liberation of the city of Mariupol from illegal armed formations and in the Shirokin operation.
“You are highly professional specialists. Today, your combat experience is paramount. It helps the forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to work out the scenario of internal destabilization, which took place in 2014 at the tactical and special exercises. Thanks to your awareness, today we are ready to react to such situations,” Denys Monastyrsky addressed the guards.
Recall, on February 12, units of the National Police, the National Guard, the State Border Guard Service and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine conducted tactical and special exercises in the territory of certain settlements of the Kherson region, near the administrative border with the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
