Denis Monastyrsky: missile strike on Vinnitsa is another crime of the terrorist state of Russia
Rescuers plan to complete the analysis of rubble at the site of the rocket attack in the center of Vinnytsia today. As a result of the tragedy there are dead, 52 people are hospitalized. This was stated by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denis Monastyrsky during a briefing in Vinnytsia.
“Today there was another tragedy, another war crime of the terrorist state of Russia, the war criminal of Putin. There was an arrival of missiles in the center of Vinnitsa. At 10:12 a.m., an air alert was declared. At 10:43 in Vinnitsa there was an explosion, missiles hit the car park. Already 5-7 minutes after the explosion, there were police, rescuers and ambulance doctors at the scene of the tragedy. Here they found the remains of two Caliber rockets. A total of 4 missiles were fired, two of them shot down the PVO, two, unfortunately, achieved their goal. As a result, there are dead. 91 people turned to doctors, 52 of them hospitalized. All of them are in hospitals in Vinnitsa. There are enough doctors, blood and all the necessary equipment to help the victims. The police received 42 reports of missing persons,” said Denis Monastyrsky.
The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs stressed that most of the dead were those who were on the street during the air alarm.
According to him, 36 civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged as a result of the missile strike.
Also, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs noted that rescuers will be able to finish dismantling the rubble today.
“More than 100 employees of the State Emergency Service, municipal services of the city are actively working. Today, by the end of the day, the last figure will be clear on who they will find,” added Denis Monastyrsky.
