On May 12-13, 2022, the next meeting of the Senior Officials of the Prague Process took place. Ukraine's position was presented by employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the State Migration Service of Ukraine, who participated in the event online.

The main purpose of the event was the exchange of views between the representatives of the participating countries on the key elements of the new draft Ministerial Declaration of the Prague Process and the Plan of Measures for 2023-2027 with assessments of the consequences of the undeclared Russian war against Ukraine, first of all — the unprecedented number of Ukrainian citizens who were forced to temporarily leave the territory states seeking refuge in the EU.

The participants of the event supported the efforts, dedication and heroism of Ukrainian citizens, which they give to protect the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine. Representatives of Ukraine expressed the position that overcoming the migration crisis should take place jointly by Ukraine and the EU countries, combining military victories with the development of further prospects and plans for the reconstruction of the Ukrainian state and the reintegration of Ukrainian citizens who will return home.
