Chernihiv rescuers together with police and volunteers held an interactive event for children
Today, the rescuers of the State Emergency Service, together with the inspectors of the Department of Juvenile Prevention and volunteers, held a safety event for the pupils of the Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation.
Specialists of the Rescue Service in the format of a dialogue told the younger generation the basic rules of fire safety, in particular, each of those present was able to independently eliminate conditional ignition with a fire extinguisher.
Separately, emergency responders used mock-ups to teach children to distinguish explosive objects and told about three key rules “Do not approach, do not touch, immediately call 101 or 102”.
The children also spent time at the location with the dog handlers of the SNS and their four-legged assistant shepherds Zara and Lapa. Boys and girls watched with interest every movement of the tails, enthusiastically reacted to the completed commands and tasks.
At the end of the event, rescuers showed the children a special SARM-L light emergency and rescue car based on the Ford Ranger and told what the special equipment in the car is intended for.
In memory of the meeting, the specialists of the State Emergency Service presented the children with interesting and useful gifts from the UN Children's Fund UNICEF Ukraine, as well as sweets for tea.
