Combat work in the east and border violators in the west: how the day passed for border guards (VIDEO)
The border guards of the Luhansk detachment in the Bakhmut area destroyed the Rapira cannon, the C60 complex, the Ural and 120 mm mortars. After conducting aerial reconnaissance, the servicemen discovered important military facilities of the occupiers. During the night hunt, UAV dumps in one night affected:
- anti-tank gun MT-12 “Rapira”;
- anti-aircraft artillery complex C60;
- truck “Ural”;
- 120 mm mortar.
In the Kharkiv direction, the fighters of the Border Brigade of the “Steel Border” Offensive Guard destroyed an enemy complex intended for remote visual surveillance of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
During aerial reconnaissance, an enemy excavator was discovered, with which the occupiers intended to carry out the arrangement of their positions. With the help of a drone, the occupiers managed to blow up the earthmoving machine.
Meanwhile, the border guards of the Chopsky detachment detained the organizer of illegal transportation across the state border of military servicemen. He was detained on one of the streets of Uzhgorod during operational-search measures. The suspect was taken to the Uzhgorod City District Court for the purpose of bringing the trial. The trial of the case has been resumed.
In addition, the border guards of the Mukachevo detachment stopped the attempt to illegally move tobacco products across the border. A 25-year-old citizen of Ukraine tried to secretly move tobacco products. He arrived at the checkpoint by Mercedes minibus. The man packed 310 packs of cigarettes in a spare wheel. They were discovered by border guards during an in-depth inspection of the vehicle.
Cigarettes and a vehicle were seized. The amount of the assessment of tobacco products amounted to 30 thousand 630 hryvnias, the seized car was valued at 955 thousand hryvnia.
In total, on February 14, 53 thousand people and 14 thousand vehicles crossed the western borders of Ukraine with the EU and Moldova (in the Chernivtsi region).
27 thousand people left Ukraine. 16 thousand of them crossed the border with Poland, the rest followed to other EU countries and Moldova.
26 thousand people followed to Ukraine, 22 thousand of them - citizens of Ukraine.
