“White Angels” Evacuated Low-Mobility Couple Left Without Housing From Liman Community (VIDEO)
The house in the village of Kolodiazi, where an 84-year-old man and his 86-year-old wife lived, was smashed by a direct hit. Due to heart problems, the woman went to the hospital. Now the elderly couple is together and safe, the police took care of it. In addition, the crew of the “White Angel” delivered humanitarian cargo to Torskoe, from which to the front - about two kilometers.
Previously, about 350 people lived in Wells, now there are only a few. The police came to see the grandfather, who was asked to take his relatives away from the fire. His wife was in a medical institution at the time.
The Estuary “White Angels” operate under constant shelling and air raids, which smash settlements to the rocks. During the evacuation, the crew was also hit - the enemy was fired from artillery, ammunition ruptured nearby. Despite this, law enforcement officers transported the elderly man to a safe place.
In a few days, the police helped the couple to reunite and handed over to volunteers, who took the family to the Kramatorsk Shelter. Now the couple is looking for a new home.
Not all residents of front-line settlements agree to evacuation. They are helped to survive in hellish conditions by the “White Angels”, who several times a week bring vital things: bread, hygiene products, medicines. There is no electricity in Torskoe, so the police regularly deliver candles and flashlights.
