Quality, speed, comfort for citizens, a minimum of bureaucracy and the exclusion of the corruption component are our main benchmarks in the process of digitizing the service services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. This was reported by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko in his Telegram channel.
“A week ago, in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Resources, they launched the re-registration of vehicles in the Diia application. In just seven days, citizens entered into 1390 sales contracts directly in the smartphone. There is also the possibility of postal delivery of license plates and certificates of registration of cars”, - the Minister notes.
One of the most popular services available online is the exchange of a driver's license. This can be done in the Driver's Cabinet, and from May this year — also in the Action app.
Since the beginning of 2023, more than 240 thousand applications for the exchange of driver's licenses have been received. They can also be obtained by mail. In October of this year, we also introduced international delivery of drivers through the Driver's Office. Today, delivery is available in 12 countries around the world. It has already been used by more than 1800 citizens.
In addition, in the driver's office, you can book the desired combination of license plates and get them at the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. This year, more than 23 thousand citizens used the service.
“We do not stop at what has been achieved and we are implementing qualitative changes,” the Minister summarizes.
