For 10 months in Ukraine, the only number for emergency notifications has been working — 112
During this time, operators processed almost 1.4 million calls from citizens. The vast majority of appeals were within the competence of the police.
At 112, you can call several emergency services at once. This significantly speeds up the response process and thus improves the level of safety of citizens. The
specialists of the line speak foreign languages and also accept calls in sign language via video communication, in particular, more than 12.7 thousand such calls were received.
Now the number is available for residents of Kyiv and Kyiv region, as well as Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Lviv, Volyn, Rivne, Ternopil, Khmelnytsky, Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zakarpattia, Cherkasy and Chernihiv regions. We are working to introduce to operate the line in other regions. We continue to take care of the safety and comfort of citizens.
