We inform you about the publication on May 06, 2021 on the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine of the draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On Amendments to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1081 of July 11, 2000” (hereinafter referred to as the draft resolution).
The draft resolution was developed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in accordance with paragraph 2 of Chapter II “Final Provisions” of the Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine in connection with the adoption of the Law of Ukraine “On Standardization” dated September 20, 2019 No. 124-IX.
The draft resolution proposes to exclude from the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of July 11, 2000 No. 1081 “On the introduction of license plates of vehicles manufactured by individual orders of their owners” provisions on compliance of license plates of vehicles manufactured by individual orders of their owners with the requirements of state standards and to supplement its new clause, according to which samples of such license plates and requirements for them are established by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
The draft resolution also specifies the provisions on the number of symbols that can be on the license plates of vehicles manufactured by individual orders of their owners, for cars and motorcycles.
