We inform you about the publication on June 05, 2020 on the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine (www.mvs.gov.ua) of the draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On the implementation of an experimental project on the implementation of state registration of new cars, buses, motorcycles and mopeds of all types, brands and models, self-propelled vehicles designed on the chassis of cars, trailers and semi-trailers thereto, motorcycles, other vehicles equivalent to them with the participation of manufacturers, distributors and authorized dealers who implement them” (hereinafter referred to as the draft resolution).
The draft resolution was developed with the aim of optimizing, accessibility and simplification of obtaining the service for state registration of new cars, buses, motorcycles and mopeds of all types, brands and models, self-propelled vehicles designed on the chassis of cars, trailers and semi-trailers to them, motorcycles, other transport equivalent to them vehicles (hereinafter referred to as vehicles) with the participation of manufacturers, distributors and authorized dealers who sell them.
The draft act proposes to introduce on the territory of Ukraine an experimental project on the possibility of registration of new vehicles with the participation of business entities implementing them. This will allow, at the request of buyers of new vehicles, to obtain vehicle registration documents and license plates directly at the premises of the business entity from which such a vehicle was purchased.
