In compliance with the requirements of Article 9 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Principles of State Regulatory Policy in the Field of Economic Activity”, we announce on April 14, 2024 on the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine (www.mvs.gov.ua) the draft order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine “On Amendments to the Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Affairs of Ukraine dated December 07, 2009 № 515” (hereinafter referred to as the draft order). The draft order was developed in accordance with the requirements of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated April 03

2019 No. 320 “On Amendments to Certain Decrees of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine”, which amended, among other things, the Regulation on the procedure for issuing driver's licenses and admission of citizens to drive vehicles, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 340 of May 8, 1993. Development and adoption of the draft order is due to the need to improve the mechanism of state regulation of the procedure for issuing driver's licenses and admission of citizens to drive vehicles, as well as to eliminate existing ones

gaps in the legislation. In

addition, the draft order provides for the establishment of the procedure for the use of technical means of control during the preparation of exams, the preservation of information obtained through them and access to it, which, in turn, will ensure the prevention of manifestations of abuse of power and the official position of the process of passing exams for obtaining a certificate comments of the driver.
