Draft Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs “On Approval of the Procedure for Informing the Population on Concentrations of Arsenic, Cadmium, Mercury, Nickel and Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons in Atmospheric Air”

We inform you about the publication on September 10, 2020 on the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine (www.mvs.gov.ua) of the draft order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine “On Approval of the Procedure for Informing the Population on Concentrations of Arsenic, Cadmium, Mercury, Nickel and Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons in atmospheric air” (hereinafter referred to as the draft order).

The draft order was developed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in order to improve the air quality monitoring system.

The draft order is aimed at ensuring the implementation of uniform requirements for informing the population about concentrations of arsenic, cadmium, mercury, nickel and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in atmospheric air by hydrometeorological organizations that monitor and assess the quality of atmospheric air in zones and amerglobules departments and belong to the sphere of management of the State Emergency Service as a central executive body that implements state policy in the field of hydrometeorological activities and is determined by the subject of atmospheric air monitoring in accordance with the Procedure implementation of state monitoring in the field of atmospheric air protection, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated August 14, 2019 No. 827 “Some issues of implementation of state monitoring in the field of atmospheric air protection”.
