Media about us: “The work of the rescuers of the State Emergency Service in the frontline Gulyaypol”
Journalists of the Unified News tele-marathon visited Zaporizhzhia — the frontline town of Gulyaypole, to show the titanic work of the rescuers of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, who nevertheless remain with the townspeople.
“They can bring us water and help. How do we live here? Every day shells burst — this is how we live here,” says one of the men of Gulyaypol.
Emergency workers say that the work that was before the full-scale invasion does not compare with the situation that is currently in Zaporizhzhia. They almost daily eliminate fires that arise from enemy “arrivals” and rescue people.
“People have nowhere to go from here. So we have to be here, to help and support,” concludes rescuer Artem Kirsha.
