Mine hazard: Urpyvnytskyi rescuers help in mining Mykolaiv region
As a result of Russian aggression, Ukraine is one of the most mined countries in the world - about a third of the territory of our state is potentially dotted with explosive objects.
Every day, rescuers record cases of blowing up Ukrainians at the GNP. In the Nikolaev area, for example, only since the beginning of the year four people have died as a result of careless handling of ammunition. This time, fellow sappers from Kropyvnytskyi went to help the Nikolaev rescuers. The story about the interaction of the specialists of the State Emergency Service was broadcast on the United News marathon.
According to pyrotechnicians, cases of mining of houses, courtyards, household appliances are still detected in the de-occupied territories of the Nikolaev area. For this, the enemy used mainly anti-personnel mines PMN-2 and MON-50.
Since the beginning of a full-scale war, the rescuers of Kropyvnytskyi have learned to neutralize such mines from scratch. Now they travel to almost all de-occupied regions to help colleagues.
