The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine conducts electronic consultations with the public on the draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On Amendments to Appendices 2 and 6 to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated September 16, 2020 No. 844” (hereinafter — the draft resolution), published on August 25, 2023 in subheading “Draft regulations” of the heading “Normative base of the Ministry of Internal Affairs” of the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine: here.

The implementation of the draft resolution will apply to:

• The main service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, on the official website of which will be located, in particular, an electronic service for checking the information specified in the vehicle registration certificate form;
• State enterprise “Printing Plant “Ukraine” for the production of securities”, which produces forms of national driver's license, vehicle registration certificate;
• citizens who receive a national driver's license and/or vehicle registration certificate.

Possible consequences of the implementation of the draft resolution for these social groups of the population and interested parties are:

• production of forms of national driver's license, vehicle registration certificate with special marking on the protective coating, which will contribute to additional protection of these documents from falsification;
• verification of the information specified in the vehicle registration certificate form by QR code in order to confirm its validity through the appropriate electronic service located on the official website of the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
