The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine conducts electronic consultations with the public on the draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On Amendments to the Decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 340 of May 08, 1993 and No. 1388 of September 07, 1998” (hereinafter — the draft resolution), published on May 26 2023 in the subheading “Draft regulations” of the heading “Normative base of the Ministry of Internal Affairs” of the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine: here.

The implementation of the draft resolution will apply to:

• business entities that have expressed a desire to participate in the state registration of new vehicles;
• individuals intending to receive administrative services provided by territorial service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Possible consequences of the implementation of the draft resolution for these groups of the population and interested parties are to provide the opportunity to:

• business entities — to participate in the state registration of new vehicles with the issuance of only certificates of registration of vehicles in electronic form, without producing them on forms;
• individuals — order in electronic form through the means of the electronic driver's office and the Diia Portal services, in particular: exchange of a driver's license made on the form for a driver's license in electronic form; state registration (re-registration), deregistration of vehicles; issuance of a temporary registration card in connection with granting the right to drive a vehicle to another natural person; issuing a vehicle registration certificate in the name of another natural person making a trip abroad.
