The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine conducts electronic consultations with the public on the draft order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine “On approval of the procedure for video fixation of the process of checking the design and technical condition of a wheeled vehicle”, published on September 25, 2023 in the subheading “Draft regulations” heading “Normative base of the Ministry of Internal Affairs” of the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine: here.

Stakeholders to whom the implementation of the draft order will apply: the territorial body for the provision of service services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the subjects of mandatory technical control of vehicles (hereinafter — the subjects of the OTC).

The draft order was developed in compliance with paragraph twenty-second paragraph 16 of the Procedure for conducting mandatory technical control and the scope of inspection of the technical condition of vehicles, the technical description and a sample of the protocol for checking the technical condition of the vehicle, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated January 30, 2012 No. 137.

The draft order defines the mechanism for conducting OTC video recording of the process of checking the design and technical condition of the wheeled vehicle during the implementation of mandatory technical control of vehicles, requirements for video recordings, method and duration of storage of video recordings and the method of providing them to the subjects of appeal.
