The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine conducts electronic consultations with the public on the draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On Amendments to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated September 16, 2020 No. 844” (hereinafter referred to as the draft resolution), published on February 11, 2022 in the subheading “Prov Draft regulations” heading “Normative base of the Ministry of Internal Affairs” of the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine: here.

The implementation of the draft resolution will apply to the following social groups of the population: persons wishing to obtain a driver's license or carry out state registration of a vehicle.

Stakeholders to whom the implementation of the draft resolution will apply: business entities in the field of training, retraining and training of vehicle drivers.

Possible consequences of the implementation of the draft resolution for these social groups of the population and interested parties are:

• the need to establish clear signs of protection and bring protective elements in accordance with their properties;
• the presence of a QR code will allow to encode all relevant information contained on the vehicle registration certificate for scanning by the relevant authorities during the verification of information;
• These changes will increase the comprehensive protection of the document against forgery and falsification.
