The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, in accordance with the Procedure for Public Consultations on the Formation and Implementation of State Policy, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated November 03, 2010 No. 996, conducted electronic consultations with the public on the draft order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On Approval of the Comprehensive Plan measures to protect the rights and interests of persons missing in special circumstances, victims of violent disappearances, members of their families” (hereinafter referred to as the draft order), which was published on January 04, 2021 in the subheading “Draft regulations” of the heading “Normative base of the Ministry of Internal Affairs” of the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine: here.
Information on proposals received during electronic consultations with the public on the draft order and on the results of their consideration is given in the table.

Supplement the comprehensive plan of activities with the following item: ensure the generalization of the practice of applying legislation on the issues of persons missing in special circumstances, victims of violent disappearances, members of their families, in case of identifying problematic issues directly related to the rights and legitimate interests of these persons, develop proposals for improving legislative acts, acts of the President of Ukraine, the Cabinet Ministers of Ukraine and, in the prescribed manner, submit them to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, as well as, if necessary, develop draft laws and other legal acts to address these issues. To designate the Commission on Persons Missing in Special Circumstances and other entities defined by the Law of Ukraine “On the Legal Status of Missing Persons” as responsible for the implementation of these measures. |

Based on the results of electronic consultations with the public on the draft order, it was decided to take into account the comments and suggestions of public representatives, to finalize the draft order and to publish its revised version on the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
