The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine conducts electronic consultations with the public on the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On Amendments to Certain Resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine” (hereinafter — the draft resolution), published on January 25, 2021 in the subheading “Draft regulations” of the heading “Normative base of the Ministry of Internal Affairs” of the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine: here.

The implementation of the draft resolution will apply to persons wishing to obtain a driver's license, open a relevant category or carry out state registration of a vehicle.

Possible consequences of the implementation of the draft resolution are:

• improving the efficiency of organizing the admission in the territorial service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of practical exams taken to obtain the right to drive vehicles of the relevant category;
• improvement of the procedure for providing administrative services to individuals for registration, issuance, return and exchange of driver's licenses;
• improvement of the rules in terms of the submission of relevant documents, in particular, the elimination of the corruption-causing factor in the certification of driver skills by submitted documents without substantiated and proper confirmation of the presence of such skills in the driver.
