The main tasks of the Management:

1) by order of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine (hereinafter referred to as the Minister) ensures the implementation of his powers regarding the implementation of military-political and administrative leadership of the National Guard of Ukraine (hereinafter referred to as the NGU), as well as the formation and implementation of state policy in the sphere of its activities;

2) ensures the interaction of the Ministry of Internal Affairs with NGU on planning the application and development of NGU, development, elaboration and submission to the Minister for consideration of draft normative and legal acts on the activities of NGU;

3) on the instructions of the Minister, carries out control within the scope of competence on the state of implementation of the tasks and functions assigned to it, study the reasons and conditions that contribute to the occurrence of deficiencies in the activities of the NGU, development of measures to improve service and combat activities, organizational provision of listening and reporting in the areas of service activities of the management of the NGO to the Minister and the Deputy Minister in accordance with the distribution of functional duties.
