Main functions of Management:

1) submission to the Minister for consideration and elaboration of proposals made by the structural units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on ways of forming state policy in the field of migration (immigration and migration), including combating illegal (illegal) migration, citizenship, registration of individuals, refugees and other specified legislation categories of migrants;

2) monitoring the state of implementation of the SMS decisions of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, state target programs, decisions of the Board of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the implementation of state policy in the field of migration (immigration and emigration), including the fight against illegal (illegal) migration, citizenship, registration of individuals, refugees and other categories of migrants defined by law;

3) monitoring the implementation by the SMS apparatus, the territorial bodies of the SMS of the Constitution of Ukraine, the laws of Ukraine, acts of the President of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, normative legal acts and administrative documents of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as analyzes the reasons for improper fulfillment of their requirements and makes proposals for eliminating such violations;

4) interaction with the committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Office of the President of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, other state authorities and local self-government bodies in resolving issues of regulatory and legal regulation of the activities of the SMS.
