Main functions of Management:

1) submission to the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of proposals for draft laws, acts on psychological support, which are received for approval from other central executive bodies, preparation of proposals for draft laws, other legislative acts of Ukraine, which are submitted for consideration by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, and draft laws adopted for consideration by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine with other subjects of the right of legislative initiative;

2) development or participation in the preparation of draft laws and other normative legal acts on psychological support;

3) provision of a complex of measures of psychological assistance, support and rehabilitation of workers and members of their families who have been injured in the performance of official, service and combat tasks or for whom reintegration and postisolation measures are carried out after returning from captivity;

4) generalization of statistical information on psychological support, psychological rehabilitation of combatants of the apparatus of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, NGU, CEV and institutions, institutions and enterprises belonging to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs;

5) the use of training technologies in order to provide psychological support to the personnel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the formation of psychological resilience, safe behavior skills, the ability to solve psychological problems and manage conflict situations, taking into account the specifics of work;

6) coordination and support of psycho-preventive work aimed at strengthening and restoring the socio-psychological well-being and health of civil servants of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, preventing the occurrence of socio-psychological and personal maladjustment;

7) organization and conduct of methodological meetings and seminars on methodological, methodological and practical issues of psychological support of the service activities of the departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, NGU, CEV and institutions, institutions and enterprises belonging to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs;

8) providing advisory assistance on psychological support of structural units of the apparatus of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, institutions, institutions and enterprises belonging to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and on the instructions of the Minister — in the NGU, CEV;

9) monitoring the state of the socio-psychological climate in labor teams, rating and leadership style of officials and providing recommendations to managers (bosses) on forming the necessary level of their susceptibility, team cohesion, creating conditions of high demands and mutual assistance;

10) providing individual advisory, psychological assistance to employees of structural units of the apparatus of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, institutions, institutions and enterprises belonging to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, NGU, CEV, and members of their families after being in extreme situations.
