Main functions of Management:

1) ensuring within the competence of the Ministry of Internal Affairs the formation of state policy in the field of observance of human rights and freedoms, including in the field of preventing and combating domestic violence, trafficking in human beings, protecting the rights and interests of the child, the formation of a safe children's environment;

2) ensuring within the competence of the Ministry of Internal Affairs the implementation of state policy in the field of observance of human rights and freedoms, including in the areas of ensuring equal rights and opportunities for women and men, barrier-free access, prevention and counteraction of discrimination in the apparatus of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the GSC, institutions, institutions and enterprises belonging to the sphere management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs;

3) ensuring, within the competence of the Office, the interaction of the structural divisions of the apparatus of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the GSC, institutions, institutions and enterprises belonging to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, with the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, other bodies of state power, international and national non-governmental organizations;

4) organizational, methodological and regulatory support within the competence of the Directorate of activities of structural divisions of the apparatus of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, GSC, institutions, institutions and enterprises belonging to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and by order of the Minister — bodies of the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, NGU.
