The main tasks of the Department:

1) organization and implementation of planning of the activities of the Minister, ensuring the activities of the Board of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and holding meetings of the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs;

2) study by order of the Minister the state of implementation of the CEV and NGU tasks and functions assigned to them;

3) information-analytical, organizational, protocol, advisory and other support of the activities of the Minister regarding the implementation of the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the direction and coordination of the activities of the Central Intelligence Agency, the implementation of other powers defined by the legislation of Ukraine;

4) ensuring the functioning of an effective internal control system to achieve the goals defined by the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the most effective and effective way, as well as preventing potential threats to their implementation.
