Main functions of the Department:

1) ensuring coordination of the work of the apparatus of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, institutions, institutions belonging to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Guard of Ukraine, central executive bodies, the activities of which are directed and coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine through the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine (hereinafter - the budget institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system), in the budget process;

2) ensuring uniform approaches to the formation of accounting policies of budgetary institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system, accounting, preparation and submission of financial, budgetary, consolidated financial, consolidated budget and other reporting on the areas of activity;

3) ensuring the implementation of budget funds management and monitoring of the directions of their use;

4) ensuring the formation of a wage fund, organization of work on wages and other social benefits;

5) ensuring monitoring of the financial condition of enterprises belonging to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs;

6) keeping accounting of financial and economic activities of the apparatus of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and preparation of financial, budgetary, statistical and other reports in the manner and deadlines established by law.
