The Joint Ukrainian-French Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation plans to implement a number of joint projects — Denis Monastyrskyi
This was stated by the Minister of the Interior today, August 23, during a meeting with the Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade and Economic Attractiveness to the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs of France, Franco Rister.
“Today's meeting is a continuation of cooperation between Ukraine and France. The Ukrainian-French Commission is one of the most active among the majority of Ukrainian commissions working in the Government. The number of projects we implement for different ministries impresses my colleagues. For us, an important component of our commercial projects remains the partial localization of production in Ukraine,” said Denis Monastyrsky.
The head of the law enforcement agency noted that the Ministry of Internal Affairs is ready to consolidate its efforts to finish the already existing projects - the supply of Airbus Helicopters helicopters, OCEA patrol boats, as well as to start new ones - the supply of fire trucks with Echelles Riffaud ladders, renewal of the fleet of cargo electric locomotives of JSC “Uw Krzaliznytsya”, as well as modernization of supply systems and improvement of drinking water quality in Luhansk region and Kyiv city.
“Negotiations on these projects have already been completed — contracts are ahead,” he said.
Denis Monastyrsky stressed that within the framework of the Joint Ukrainian-French Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation it is planned to implement a number of initiatives - modernization of supply systems and improvement of drinking water quality in Kharkiv, as well as a project to create a national air carrier of Ukraine.
In turn, the Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade and Economic Attractiveness to the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs of France, Frank Rister, stressed that the close bilateral relations between Ukraine and France are the result of the work of the two Governments.
“The signed agreements between our countries are the best confirmation of how bilateral cooperation can be realized. The key to our cooperation is not only trust between our countries, but also the high quality of the goods that we jointly produce or supply to your country. I must note that partial localization of production in Ukraine is a good solution for both countries. French producers listen to the comments and advice of Ukrainian colleagues,” he said.
Recall that in October 2021 the first patrol boat for the State Border Guard Service produced by the company “OSEA” will be launched.
