A resident of Khmelnytskyi region was declared on suspicion of selling child pornography
The defendant sold illegal content created with the participation of minors on the Internet. For his actions, he faces up to twelve years in prison.
The criminal activity of the 21-year-old man was exposed by the cyber police of Khmelnytskyi region together with the investigators of the regional police.
The defendant used three accounts in the messenger where he marketed pornographic videos. “Specialized” exclusively on illegal content with the participation of children. It was previously established that such videos were bought by the attacker on thematic forums in DarkNet.
At the place of residence of the man, the police conducted a search and seized evidence of involvement in a criminal offense.
The defendant was detained in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. He was declared a suspect under Part 4 of Art. 301 (Import, manufacture, sale and distribution of pornographic items) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (old version) and under Part 3 of Art. 301-1 (Obtaining access to child pornography, its acquisition, storage, production, sale and distribution) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The suspect faces up to twelve years in prison.
