A resident of Volyn organized the illegal production of certificates of negative PCR tests
Volynyan organized the production and sale of fake certificates of negative PCR tests for COVID-19 for monetary reward. The man sold fake certificates of negative result to persons crossing the state border so that they would not undergo mandatory self-isolation.
Measures to expose the offender were carried out by the operational officers of the Lutsk Border Detachment and the investigators of the National Police under the procedural guidance of the Novovolynsk Department of the District Prosecutor's Office within the framework of criminal proceedings under Art. 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
As a result of an authorized search, law enforcement officers found 18 forms of certificates of negative PCR testing in the vehicle. Also, other material evidence indicating illegal activity was found in the dwelling of a resident of Novovolynsk.
Investigative actions are currently ongoing.
