Detained the “lawman” from the National Security Council sanctions list nicknamed “Koba Rustavsky”
He is also wanted for committing serious crimes by the competent authorities of the Kingdom of Spain. Today, December 24, the court applied an extradition arrest to the “people in the law” and sent him to the detention center.
On December 1, employees of the Department of Strategic Investigations of the National Police detained a “criminal in the law” from the sanctions list of the National Security Service of Ukraine, who illegally entered the territory of Ukraine. He was placed in the Nikolaev point of temporary stay of foreigners and stateless persons.
In addition, since 2016, “Coba Rustavsky” has been wanted by law enforcement agencies of Spain for committing particularly serious crimes. Namely, for the creation of a criminal organization, an ordered murder in France and the storage of property obtained by criminal means. He was also the so-called “guardian” of the “crowned” representatives of the criminal world of Spain.
On December 23, having received the relevant documents authorizing the extradition of the “villain in law”, the police detained him in accordance with Articles 208 and 582 (peculiarities of detention of a person who committed criminal offenses outside Ukraine) of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
Today, December 24, the court satisfied the petition of the prosecutors of the Nikolaev regional prosecutor's office and applied an extradition arrest to the “people in the law”. Until the issue of his extradition and actual transfer to the competent authorities of the Kingdom of Spain is resolved, Coba Rustavsky will be in a detention center. Under Spanish law, “vou in law” can be threatened with up to 24 years in prison.
Recall that in March 2020, “authority” was already detained for further extradition, but by a court decision he was released from custody. Since then, he has gone into hiding from law enforcement agencies in order to avoid extradition to competent foreign bodies for further prosecution for crimes committed.
