The deputy director of one of the NAAS institutes was detained for a bribe — he demanded a monthly “reward” for renting the premises
The official demanded 10,000 UAH monthly from the entrepreneur. This amount was a kind of rent for the premises, which is managed by the Institute of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine.
Operatives of the Directorate of Strategic Investigations in Sumy region with law enforcement colleagues exposed the attacker. Today, April 26, he was detained after receiving UAH 10,000 on the territory of the Institute. The money was withdrawn on the spot.
Earlier: the police documented the receipt by the Deputy Director of UAH 10,000 at the end of March. Thus, the total amount of “remuneration” received by the official is UAH 20,000.
Detained the attacker in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
