They earned up to UAH 1.5 million on the sale of drugs every month - in Dnipropetrovsk region police detained participants of a criminal organization
Organized the activities of the group by a resident of the city of Kamianske. Among the accomplices are four drug addicts. They sold opium, amphetamine and methadone in the city. In accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, four persons were detained.
Operatives of the Strategic Investigations Department in the Dnipropetrovsk region of the National Police and investigators of the regional police documented and stopped the activities of the participants of the criminal organization. The group consisted of five residents of the city. Kamenskoe. They established a network of psychotropics and drugs in the city. The range includes acetylated opium, amphetamine, methadone and marijuana.
Roles were clearly distributed among the participants. The organizer controlled all the actions of his accomplices, and they accepted orders from customers, sold the “goods” and reported to the organizer on the number of orders and the funds received. Four participants, in addition to the “salary”, received a free dose of the drug for their own use.
According to preliminary estimates, such a business brought intruders up to 1.5 million UAH of monthly “profit”. Part of the funds was distributed among the participants of the criminal organization depending on the participation, the rest was spent on the development of their illegal activities.
Yesterday, November 2, police officers with the strong support of special officers of the special purpose police regiment detained the organizer and three of his accomplices. Also, authorized searches were carried out at their places of residence. Drugs and psychotropics, cell phones, money, “rough” records and bank cards were seized.
Currently, in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, four persons have been detained. All participants in the criminal organization were informed of suspicions under parts 1, 2 of article 255 (creation, management of, and participation in a criminal community or criminal organization) and part 3 of article 307 (illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, shipment or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic drugs substances or their analogues) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Prosecutors of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office are preparing a petition to the court to elect the defendants preventive measures in the form of detention.
For the crime, he may be threatened with up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.
