Transcarpathian law enforcement officers established the organizer and executor of the illegal crossing of illegal immigrants abroad
The investigators of the Transcarpathian police, together with the agents of the migration police of the region and border guards, in the course of operational work, identified the intruders involved in the scheme for the transfer of illegal immigrants to the European Union countries. The men will be notified of the suspicion in the near future.
Recently, in the Tyachiv region, law enforcement officers found a group of illegal migrants in an abandoned building. The police found out that eight immigrants from Afghanistan arrived in the territory of Transcarpathia from the city of Kiev.
Organizers told migrants to hide in the premises of a former school in the village of Lower Apsha and wait for future instructions. However, police officers prevented the defendants from bringing the case to the end. After the detection of illegals, the police, together with the border guards, began measures to establish the direct organizers and executors of the crossing.
It turned out that two residents of the Tyachiv district, aged 33 and 34, are involved in the illegal scheme. For monetary reward, the men promised Afghan citizens an unhindered crossing of the border bypassing the checkpoints.
At their place of residence, the police conducted court-sanctioned searches, during which they removed evidence of the involvement of the perpetrators in the offense.
Currently, the issue of notifying intruders of suspicion of committing a criminal offense, provided for in part 2 of Art. 2, is being resolved. 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, that is, illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine.
