Transcarpathian law enforcement officers established a group of intruders involved in posting provocative postcards in Beregov
Transcarpathian police officers and employees of the regional department of the Security Service of Ukraine established the involvement of a Kiev citizen and two Dnieper residents in the crime of violating the equality of citizens. We are talking about posting provocative postcards in Beregovia with threats addressed to Ukrainians of Hungarian origin
Recall that recently, the police recorded the fact of distribution of leaflets with threats to Ukrainians of Hungarian origin in Beregovia region. The investigators of the Beregovsky district police department classified such actions of offenders under Part 2 of Article 161 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, i.e. violation of equality of citizens depending on their nationality, combined with threats.
Police officers, together with USBU collaborators in the Transcarpathian region, carry out active operational work. As a result, three people have now been identified, involved in the posting of provocative leaflets with threats to representatives of the Hungarian national minority. We are talking about two residents of Dnipro and a resident of Kiev.
The investigators of the police under the procedural leadership of the Berehovsk District Prosecutor's Office informed the defendants about the suspicion of committing the specified crime and have already conducted searches at their place of residence.
Suspects say that they were looking for jobs through ads on the Internet. There they came across an offer to put up provocative postcards, for which $200 was offered. Also, the attackers note that the “employer” is unknown to them, the actions were coordinated only using the Internet.
However, law enforcement agencies already know that the customer is a person from the Russian Federation.
The pre-trial investigation into the case continues.
