Criminal proceedings have been opened on the fact of the explosion at the cemetery in the village of Verkhnotoretske
As a result of the extraordinary incident, a 69-year-old local resident died. According to the conclusions of the explosives, the man was blown up on a homemade explosive device.
Recall that the husband and wife cleaned the graves at the cemetery in the village of Verkhnotoretske, which is near the contact line. During the work, an explosion occurred, as a result of which the man received injuries incompatible with life. The woman was not hurt.
At the scene of the incident, the investigative and operational group of Avdeevka police and the explosives equipment of the GUNP in Donetsk region worked.
According to the preliminary conclusion of the explosives technicians, a homemade explosive device worked on the spot.
The information is included in the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations with preliminary qualification under Part 1 of Art. 115 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
A pre-trial investigation is ongoing. Police establish the full circumstances of the incident.
