Border guards effectively counteract the illegal movement across the state border of vehicles that have appropriate restrictions, document problems, or have signs of clearing or falsifying VINs.
Significant assistance in detecting stolen vehicles is provided by the database of the International Criminal Police Organization Interpol.
In total, during 9 months of 2021, border guards detected 58 stolen cars and 266 vehicles with fake and faulty documents.
