On the occasion of the 7th anniversary of the creation of “Azov” servicemen received honorary awards
On the day of the 7th anniversary of the separate special purpose detachment “Azov” of the military unit 3057 of the NGU, a solemn award ceremony of the unit's fighters took place. Honorary decorations and valuable gifts were presented by the Deputy Commander of the United Forces Viktor Hanushchak.
“I want to congratulate you, my combat comrades, friends, on your holiday, on the day of the creation of the Azov Regiment, which from the first days stood for the defense of our Motherland,” said Viktor Hanushchak Shchak, addressing those present. — I want to convey sincere words of gratitude from the commander of the United Forces, Lieutenant General Volodymyr Kravchenko, for your daily combat, devotion, courage, for everything you do for the Ukrainian people”.
Viktor Hanushchak presented Azov commander Denis Prokopenko (Radis) with a congratulatory address and a commemorative badge from the commander of the United Forces. For diligence, reasonable initiative and conscientious performance of official (combat) tasks in the area of the operation of the Joint Forces to repel and deter armed aggression of the Russian Federation, the dedication and exemplary discipline of almost 30 soldiers of the Azov OZSP were awarded the Commander's Commendation of the United Forces “Cossack Cross” and valuable gifts.
Also, the personnel congratulated the acting commander of military unit 3057 Sergey Sovinsky. He thanked the troops for their commitment and loyalty to the Ukrainian people and wished further success on the way to the liberation of Ukraine and the restoration of its territorial integrity.
Azov commander Denis Prokopenko said that the best gift and reward for the fighters is to go to the forefront.
“Once again, I congratulate everyone on the seventh anniversary of the creation of our unit. This year we are humbly celebrating this date. I believe that now, when the threat has hovered over the country, there is no talk of parades in the glorious city of Berdyansk. We must be ready, promptly and quickly respond to any actions of the aggressor state — the Russian Federation, to respond clearly to them. We are grateful to Viktor Ivanovich for coming and congratulating us, presenting awards. For us, it would be the best gift and reward to go to the forefront again. We are working on it and hope that it will happen in the near future. Now we carry out the tasks that are before us, with the same dedication, potential, tension and dedication,” he stressed.
