Since April 5, Kiev police have tightened control over citizens' compliance with quarantine rules
As part of mobile groups together with employees of the Municipal Guard and National Guard soldiers, police carry out preventive work in order to comply with anti-epidemic measures and check special tickets for travel in public transport.
The capital's law enforcement officers check the availability of special passes for passengers who enter public transport and the subway at stops. In addition, reinforced mobile teams of law enforcement officers monitor to ensure that the transport is not overcrowded. In case of detection of violations, the police draw up administrative materials.
Police officers patrol forest park areas and other public places where crowds of citizens are possible. Also, using a loudspeaker, passers-by are addressed and warned to comply with quarantine requirements.
Once again, we urge citizens not to violate the established anti-epidemic measures, to use personal protective equipment and to observe social distancing, so as not to put themselves and others at risk.
