From May 2, the Government introduced restrictions and additional conditions of entry into Ukraine for citizens who arrived from the Republic of India or were in its territory

Prior to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated December 9, 2020 No. 1236 “On the establishment of quarantine and the introduction of restrictive anti-epidemic measures in order to prevent the spread in Ukraine of the acute respiratory disease COVID-19 caused by the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2” has been amended.

These changes were approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated April 28, 2021 № 445 https://is.gd/ZS216C.

Thus, from 00 h. 00 min. 2 May 2021, for the period of quarantine, the adopted decision prohibits the crossing of the state border to enter Ukraine by foreigners and stateless persons who have arrived from the Republic of India or have been on its territory for at least seven days within the last 14 days. The exceptions are foreigners and stateless persons who permanently or temporarily reside in Ukraine, are spouses or children of citizens of Ukraine, employees of foreign diplomatic missions and consular agencies, representative offices of international organizations accredited in Ukraine, and members of their families, as well as other categories of foreigners and stateless persons in agreement with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In addition, citizens of Ukraine, foreigners and stateless persons who permanently or temporarily reside in the territory of Ukraine, are spouses or children of citizens of Ukraine who cross the state border to enter Ukraine and have arrived from the Republic of India or have been on its territory are subject to mandatory self-isolation, observation at least seven days within the last 14 days.
