Bribes for assistance in obtaining construction passports — the head of the technical inventory bureau was detained in Kharkiv region
The director of one of the technical inventory bureaus received an illegal benefit - $3000 - in several stages. During the receipt of the last “tranche”, the official was detained by law enforcement officers.
The illegal activities of the head of the municipal enterprise — technical inventory bureau - operatives of the department of strategic investigations in the Kharkiv region together with the investigators of the police department No. 2 of the Kharkiv regional police department No. 2 have been exposed.
As the police established, the official established a corrupt mechanism for the production, approval and receipt of building passports. For the amount determined by her, she promised to produce technical documentation and resolve the issue with the relevant local authorities.
USD 3000 “reward” was demanded by the respondent for assistance in preparing the necessary package of documents for obtaining a construction passport and influence on the officials of the Kharkiv City Council so that the latter resolve the issue positively.
Yesterday, October 27, operatives and investigators detained the head of the bureau in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The woman received the second “tranche” - 2000 US dollars and 3500 hryvnia. Earlier, in September, it was documented that a woman received the first part of an illegal benefit in the amount of 1000 US dollars and 4000 hryvnia.
The issue of notifying detainees of suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 368 (extortion and receipt of ill-gotten benefits) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and the choice of a precautionary measure is resolved. In addition, after carrying out all necessary procedural measures, a legal assessment will be given to the actions of the officials of the City Council. The procedural guidance in criminal proceedings is carried out by the Nemyshlyansk District Prosecutor's Office of the city of Kharkiv.
