For the first time in 9 years, young lieutenants graduated from the military university for the DPSU Marine Guard
Dmytro and Stepan in common with their comrades, with whom they studied for 4.5 years at the Institute of Naval Forces of the National University “Odessa Maritime Academy”, mastered the wisdom of the naval profession. But it was they who received the first officer rank of lieutenant in the status of young officers of the Marine Guard.
Dmytro served in the ship and boat staff of the Maritime Guard contract service and already then realized that he had the talent and desire to become an officer, commander, mentor, and most importantly - a professional in the field of maritime border protection.
From childhood, Stepana was attracted by maritime romance. The descendant of the Cossack family chose for himself the border service to protect the maritime borders of Ukraine, seeing in it the daily performance of real combat tasks. The young energy of the new officer craves self-realization. And it is in the State Border Guard that he has such prospects.
Next week, the young officers will arrive at the Odessa Marine Guard Detachment, where they will occupy positions in the navigator combat units on the ships of the Naval Guard “Grigory Kuropiatnikov” and “Podillya”.
In the future, both young lieutenants will realize their potential as assistants to the commanders of the special purpose ship of the Ukrainian-French project FPB 98, with their entry into the Maritime Guard.
Receiving the cortical and shoulder straps of a naval officer, the young lieutenants began the glorious path of realizing their dreams.
