For the first time in the history of parades, border guards will travel through Kiev on military and special equipment
At the airfield “Pivtsi” in Chernihiv region, coordination of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other security structures has been taking place for more than a week, border guards are also training. Recall that on August 24 there will be a parade on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Independence Day of Ukraine.
This year, for the first time in the history of parades for the Independence Day of Ukraine, border guards will present not only the walking parade, but also the equipment that is in service in the border department.
On August 24, border guards will travel through the main square of the country on 20 units of equipment for various purposes.
They train for the parade daily, except weekends.
Accommodation and living conditions for the participants of the parade are provided on the basis of the Chernihiv border detachment.
All equipment, except, of course, ATVs, has an air conditioning system.
Also, taking care of the life and health of personnel, border guards on an equipped car are guarded around the clock by a mobile ambulance team.
“The boys are trained and hardy and, for now, are seeking advice such as how to protect themselves from excessive tanning,” say the doctors.
Training at the Pivtsi airfield will continue until the middle of next month, and in the future forces and resources will be moved to Kiev for final coordination among all participants of the parade.
