Demanded and received 4 thousand US dollars: in Cherkasy region police detained the head of the AHs
The head of the amalgamated territorial community received funds for assistance in concluding a contract for the implementation of economic activities.
Operatives of the Directorate of Strategic Investigations in the Cherkasy region together with the investigators of the regional police exposed the illegal activities of the head of one of the AHs of the region.
For 4 thousand US dollars, the man promised the entrepreneur to run for the director of one of the utilities in the region. As a result, a representative of a private enterprise had to enter into an agreement with a utility company on the implementation of economic activities without hindrance.
The head of the AHs was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. The issue of reporting suspicion under Art. 369-2 (abuse of influence) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine is resolved.
A man can face up to 5 years in prison.
The procedural guidance in the pre-trial investigation is carried out by the Cherkasy Regional Prosecutor's Office.
