Soldiers of the Izmail Border Detachment completed the training course within the framework of JMTG-U
Over the past week, the troops of the Izmail Detachment Border Rapid Response Command worked out the final phase of the JMTG-U exercises — battalion tactical exercises.
Together with 24 separate assault battalion 53 brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine border special officers performed various combat tasks — marching as part of border posts, conducting reconnaissance and occupation of the area of location, organization of protection and defense of the area of location on site, organization of control and regime measures, organization of actions during the adoption of the state border under the control of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, creation of a system for guarding the state border of Ukraine, deployment in platoon columns with opening fire on the enemy, etc.
Already today, the Izmailsky Rapid Response Border Command will participate in the international multinational exercises “Rapid Trident-2021”, which in a single plan will be connected with strategic exercises.
It is worth noting that this year the border guards in the exercises “Rapid Trident-2021" will participate independently, while they will perform tasks while under the operational subordination of the brigade of the Ground Troops of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces. The key point will be the elaboration of the issue of accepting the line of the state border of Ukraine under protection.
