Military hospital of the National Guard received medical equipment worth more than 15 million hryvnias
As part of the “Security Assistance Initiative for Ukraine” from the US Department of Defense last weekend, the National Guard hospital located in the city of Zolochiv received medical equipment worth about 15 million hryvnias.
This is a field mobile medical point, a mobile X-ray room and diagnostic equipment, thanks to which the hospital doctors will be able to diagnose and provide professional emergency medical care in the field and during the execution of assigned tasks in the area of the operation of the Joint Forces.
For reference. In 2020, the National Guard of Ukraine, as part of the US Security Assistance Initiative for Ukraine, received medical equipment worth almost 75 million hryvnias.
Also during the working visit, the commander of the National Guard, Colonel-General Mykola Balan, presented the hospital management with a certificate, thanks to which the medical institution will receive equipment in the amount of about 600 thousand hryvnias. Namely:
High-precision auto reflectometer Smart RK-11 with a wide range of functions. In particular, it is used to conduct refractometry of the eye, that is, the analysis of the optical properties of the human organ of vision to identify a variety of pathologies.
Propag M vital activity monitor, which is specially designed for harsh operating conditions. The patient monitor is designed to constantly monitor the parameters of the vital activity of operated and seriously ill patients.
Mobile digital X-ray system SOLTUS 100, which is used in the field, mobile or outpatient units and as part of surgical complexes in emergencies and extreme situations.
Ultrasound device Simens P500 is a portable ultrasound scanner, which is used for research of abdominal organs, kidneys, surface organs and structures, heart and blood vessels.
Another 413 thousand hryvnias was allocated by the commander of the National Guard for the hospital to equip with a bactericidal recirculation system for air disinfection.
For reference. The Military Hospital of the National Guard of Ukraine is the only medical institution in the National Guard. Here they provide qualified medical and advisory assistance to servicemen, as well as members of their families, carry out hospital and garrison military medical examination and conduct medical examination of servicemen.
